A quick review of the Dell 21.5 Touch Screen Monitor

In this day and age of phablets and tablets, and touch screen laptops, have you ever found yourself tapping on your desktop monitor screen in the office or at home?

Well, here is the solution to your problem, the DELL 21.5 inch touch screen monitor of model S2240T.

The unit comes with a power cord and a usb cord to connect the monitor to the CPU. Once you attach it and power it on, give it a few minutes to install the drivers automatically. I suggest you do this while connected to your current monitor so you see what’s happening. After the installation, disconnect your old monitor and use the touch screen.

As you can see – you can use the on screen keyboard to type – didn’t get the chance to try the keyboard for long since I didnt know how to adjust the size. LOL

The Dell S2240T is perfect for some conditions I could think of.

1. Graphic designers that like to use their hands

2. Collaboration meetings

3. Monitors for retail outlets for their POS

4. Display Monitors for Maps of other circumstances that you want people to touch the screen and not use a mouse.

5. Or Windows 8 users

Here are some quick specs:

True HD at 1920*1080 at 60 kHz

Aspect ratio 16:9

Touch Points – 10 touches certified for windows 8

The stand of the monitor can be removed and you can mount the screen using wall brackets to the wall or anywhere you want.

The Touch screen monitor retails at around 20,200 php.
