Nearly 100 schools participate in the ProjectED video contest by Globe

Globe myBusiness recently announced the winners for their ProjectEd contest where students from nearly 100 participating schools submitted video entries with the angle of How Learning is Boosted through the use of Technology.

Today’s digital landscape has made great steps in increasing the learning capabilities of the everyone in the world, even removing the traditional barriers of location and time. Now people can easily search for almost anything with the help of the World Wide Web.

For ProjectEd, the synergy of concepts is between digital technologies and education. How might we learn given the technology at our disposal? It is indisputable how technology has affected learning all around, and ProjectEd seeks to bring those changes to the forefront. ProjectEd is a nationwide video competition to all high school students. Students were asked to answer the question, “How is technology changing how you learn today?” via a three-minute video using only their mobile phone.

I was honestly shocked and in awe with the 10 finalist videos that they showed during the awarding ceremonies.. the participants had awesome editing skills, along with fascinating concepts.
