The newest flagship of Kata Digital is here! The M2

Kata Digital recently made a killing with its last flagship phone the M1, featuring a quadcore, 2mb – 16 mb mashup.

Now they are releasing the M2, the successor to the M1 in the next couple of days. You can actually pre-order it at any of the KATA stores.

Kata M2

Initially, here is what I found on the specifications the M2 boasts.

1.3GHz Quad Core MTK 6582 processor

16 gig internal memory

1 gig ram

13 megapixel back camera

5 megapixel front camera.

Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it.

Kata M3 3

It comes with the standard, usb, wall charger and headset.

  • Height: 6.18 inches (157 mm)
  • Width: 3.03 inches (77 mm)
  • Depth: 0.31 inches (7.98 mm)
  • Weight: 0.47 pounds (215g with battery)

Did I mention that the screen even looks better than the M1?

5.5” Super HD Display (720*1280)

The back camera is able to take 99 continuous shots in about 19.3 seconds. Way faster than the M1 and other phones I’ve tested.

It also seems that Kata has moved away from the slick plastic back casings to the mesh looking covers like what they put on the F1.

Kata M2 4

It still has dual slim slots – 1 regular sized simand 1 micro sim.

Kata M2 2

It also has more than 17,000 points on Antutu overtaking the REDMI of Xiaomi and at a very cost friendly price!.

Best of all, it comes out of the box in KITKAT 4.4

And ohh – all the pictures here was taken by the Kata M1.

Kata M2 SRP is P7,999.
