The Philippines Queen of Jazz, Jacqui Magno Birthday Concert

Anyone doing anything on July 26, 2014. I know I am… it’s our wedding anniversary and I’m treating my wife out to a different kind of date. We’ are going to watch the The Philippines Queen of Jazz, Jacqui Magno do a Birthday Concert at Palacio De Manila!.

The Concert “Moonlight and Love Songs” as mentioned will be done in Palacio De Manila which is right along Roxas Blvd. before Diamond Hotel.

Joining Ms. Jacqui n this concert is John Lesaca and our Friend Rannie Raymundo.

We got to meet with Ms. Jacqui over lunch as we discussed her concert and other things last week. Ms. Jacqui is no novice in singing and has a career that has spanned years, having worked with OPM artists like Basil Valdez, Richard Merk and others.

Did you know that she has no special ritual besides the basics in getting her wonderful voice ready for singing?

Getting to spend offline time with performers like Ms. Jacqui is a great privilege for me, and lets you get to know the person a lot more. Did you know that the show on the 26th will not be scripted? Well, there will be a flow of the music and things like that, but the dialogue will be free flowing – COOL!

Show starts at 8pm.

Expect Old and New Songs to be performed at the show. I’m pretty sure we are in for one heck of a performance!
